A new requirement from the Ministry of Ecation requires at least an hour’s exercise per day for middle school students. The requirement suggests such activities as group dancing as they would make school life more colorful.

But this has caused some worries from some parents. They wonder if group dancing will have some bad effects on young boys and girls, leading to small affairs like puppy love.

As a student myself, I have a different idea from our parents. All things have two sides. Group dancing is really a healthy way to relax. Under proper guidance, it is beneficial not only to building up our body, but to strengthening the relationship among students. What’s more, dancing can refresh our mind, and make our study more effective. So there’s no need to worry about it.
